We're a buying agent. Not a shop.

Floor & Folio was started by me, Christian. Like a lot of people my age, I came back to Pokémon through my son. Watching him discover the Indigo League - the same episodes I grew up with - reminded me why I loved it in the first place. I immediately ran into the same problems most buyers face. Fragmented pricing. Inconsistent condition grading. Sellers with inventory to move and no particular reason to give you objective advice.

What I didn't expect was how hard it would be to navigate. The hobby is genuinely welcoming, but the market is complex - condition grading is inconsistent, pricing is opaque, and buying well takes knowledge and time that most people don't have. I spent long enough building that knowledge myself that it started to feel worth formalising.

Floor & Folio is the service I wished had existed when I came back. A buying agent who knows the market, has no inventory to push, and whose only job is finding the right card at the right price for you. Every dealer and shop in this hobby brings their own expertise - what's different here is the structure. Our fee is a fixed percentage of whatever we spend - which means we have no reason to push one card over another, overspend your budget, or steer you in any particular direction. The only thing that matters is finding the right card at the right price.

The name comes from the two things we do: source on the show floor, and help build your folio. Both halves matter.

We're based in the UK. We attend shows when client demand justifies it and hunt down cards online and in person. We're building this to be the service we'd want to use ourselves.

Every show deepens that picture and expands the network of people worth buying from. That's what sits behind every sourcing decision we make for you.

GENUINELY ON YOUR SIDE
We earn a percentage of what we spend on your behalf, so the incentive is simple: find the best card at the best price. We have no stock to shift and nothing to gain from steering you in any particular direction. Just a brief, a budget, and a job to do.

SAME STANDARD, EVERY ORDER
Whether it's a £40 set filler or a £2,000 grail — the QC checklist is the same, the documentation is the same, the delivery experience is the same. The size of the order doesn't change how carefully we handle it.
